Map of Edon

πŸ“ Lake Barren

In the pre war era Lake Barren is documented as a seasonal frozen lake, revered for its exceptional purity. Pilgrimages were commonly made to its shores, and its waters were believed to grant extended life. In 457 SL the event known as Wish Blade’s Last Stand occurred. From 457–2457 SL is known as The Sealed Age. Pilgrimages ceased and The Nine War faded into myth. In 2458 SL the seal is broken by the entity Second Nature and Wish Blade enters Earth.

πŸ“ Edon Capital

Edon Capital was established during the early Age of Concord from the small surrounding villages. Over time it expanded with stone architecture, and served as the meeting ground of the Edon Elders. It was the symbolic center of unity prior to the Nine War. The Capitol flourished as a center of vibrant trade and civic life, eventually evolving into a place dedicated to the preservation and study of Planet Nine’s history.

πŸ“ Swamp Citadel

The Swamp Citadel rose from the deep wetlands of Edon as both fortress and dominion, engineered to exist in harmony with the surrounding marsh. Its residents were largely arcane-leaning peoples and marsh-born creatures, living symbiotically with the swamp through magic, ritual, and adaptation rather than brute force. Contemporary accounts describe the citadel as nearly impossible to conquer, sustained by living architecture, ambient magic, and the will of the land itself.

πŸ“ The Glass Gardens

A large botanical of lake, fields, flowers and greenery. The land here β€œlistens” and absorbs sound. Any sound waves are absorbed into the land, passed through all surrounding foliage, and reverberated back. It is famous for being the location where The Nine War Treaty was created between Edon and The Swamp Citadel after Wish Blade was sealed.

πŸ“ The Aeon Gates

A towering arch. Celestial beings are able to pass through here.

πŸ“ Phantom Wasteland

A place where the barrier between the living and dead is thinned. There are ancient metal structures here. A haunted place.

πŸ“ The Ember Chasm

A passage of molten rock and magma. The land around it is either covered in fire or searing stone. Some believe the Chasm may possibly serve as Balok’s pathway to move between Earth’s inner core and the surface of Planet Nine.

πŸ“ Ruins of Etheron

A jagged tear in the land where the ground drops into darkness

πŸ“ Shattered Plains

Deep fissures on the surface of Nine that glow faintly at night

πŸ“ The Rune Forest

An ancient woodland in which naturally occurring magical runes form within trees and stone. Throughout Edon’s recorded history, both the Edon Capitol and the Swamp Citadel periodically sent sanctioned expeditions to gather these runes, which were used for purposes such as fortification, healing, preservation, and spiritual binding.

πŸ“ The Void Scar

A massive rift left in the land where reality itself had been torn during the final stages of the Nine War.

πŸ“ Drowned Coast of Daryusha

An ancient coastal region that became submerged during the Pre-Era, long before the events of the Nine War. Known for its submerged stone ruins, which remain preserved beneath the water and visible along the shoreline at low tide.

πŸ“ Howling Steppe of Samariq

A plain known for winds that produce an eerie, voice-like sound as they pass through the southern eroded stones giving the region its name. It serves as the natural barrier between Zahrama and The Rune Forest.

πŸ“ Ashen Wastes

The result of The Arcane Fallout

πŸ“ Obsidian Tower of Chronon

An ancient structure built my magic during the Arcane Age. Historical records suggest the tower was used in conjunction with The Aeon Gates. These efforts ultimately failed, as aeon entities passed through the gates, triggering the catastrophic event later remembered as The Arcane Fallout

πŸ“ City of Zahrama

The first city established on Nine during the Arcane Age. Unlike many cities of that era, Zahrama has endured across ages and remains inhabited to this day. Its residents are known for their reserved customs and layered traditions, shaped by centuries of isolation, heat, and long exposure to arcane influence.

πŸ“ The Bone Fields

A grave region where enormous skeletal remains (possibly Aeons from The Arcane Fallout) and shattered ships lie fused into the land

πŸ“ The Crystal Spires

Towering, rotating formations of airborne glass.. Historical records associate the region with the Crystal Spire Order. Early accounts treat the spires as a natural phenomenon, however that may be disputed.

πŸ“ Velmoryt Peaks

A jagged mountain range defined by extreme elevation, fractured stone, and long-standing isolation from surrounding regions

πŸ“ Sulevar Rift

Created when a massive boulder originating from the Sulevar Moon crashed into the surface of Nine.
